RTC Firearms Academy offers practical and challenging firearms courses for shooters at all levels of experience and skill. Instructors are NRA certified trainers with significant firearm experience. The handgun courses involve formal skills training, all combine elements of lecture and theory with hands-on closely supervised practical exercises for an innovative and valuable learning experience. Additional training is available upon request in shotgun skills and all carbine-type platforms.

An Area of Specialty Training is LONG RANGE RIFLE, Utilizing the Most Advanced Training Techniques to Develop Accuracy & Precision, Engaging Steel Targets Starting at 600 yards and Advancing Beyond 2000 yards. 

Depending upon your learning style you can choose small intimate classes, private, semi-private and personal training options.

NRA and non-NRA courses are designed and structured to provide the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to safely own and effectively use firearms. Other courses are then custom-designed by the instructor to go beyond the basic training in order to meet the individual’s skill development needs. For each type of firearm there are multiple levels of training for those who wish to further develop and fine-tune their skills.

Only small group, private and semi-private classes are offered to maximize safety, and assure individualized attention and coaching to achieve clear results.

For those who are less comfortable participating in group classes or prefer shorter training periods personal trainer sessions and packages are available as well.

All Classes Meet and Some Exceed the NRA Curriculum

Instructors are NRA Certified and/or Ex-Military with Many Years of Experience

Training includes:   Long Range Rifle Courses- Basic through Advanced,  All Levels of  the Following: Handgun Skills,  Shotgun Skills,  AR/AK Platform Skills, In Home Protection, Out of the Home Protection, and Range Safety Officer
